Bangladesh is the fastest socio economically growing country and Government of Bangladesh has taken many initiatives to promote travel & tourism. One of the mandates of ATAB is to expand the horizon of business opportunities in travel trade to and from Bangladesh. With this view in focus, ATAB works in tandem with the Tourism Ministry/Bodies not only in Bangladesh but also with other organization across the world to further the development of relations so that there is a mutual benefit for both countries. With the above objectives in mind, ATAB has embarked upon holding a mega event BITTE (Bangladesh International Travel and Tourism Expo) to be held in December 2022.

Bangladesh International Travel and Tourism Expo (BITTE) has designed to connect all stakeholders related to Travel and Tourism, offering the opportunity to exhibit in-person exhibition at The Expo covering - Airlines, Inbound, Outbound, Domestic, Culture & Heritage, Medical, M.I.C.E Tourism, Theme Parks, lifestyle, local and International Travel agencies and Tour Operators, Accommodation, Hajj, Umrah, Destination Management Companies-DMC , Tourist Transportation company, Cruise lines and so on. It’s an opportunity to showcase & sell products and services on the spot directly to B2B and B2C consumers. ATAB, being the only association for the travel agencies always looking for the betterment of its members. It is also the largest & most active association working in the tourism sector in Bangladesh since 1976. The vibrant 3500 member travel agencies are the strength behind the success & pro activity of the association. However, present Executive Committee under the dynamic leadership of the President, Mr. S. N. Manzur Murshed (Mahbub) feels the urgency to arrange travel & tourism exhibition to connect the travel agents & tour operators around the world for better service to the clients.
